Please find attached a copy of a statement released today by the Minister of Environment regarding the latest round of concerns about eco-fees and waste diversion. In the statement Minister Bradley formally acknowledges upcoming legislation will address both eco fees and increasing waste diversion. There is a strong indication the new system will be based on a competitive individual producer responsibility framework.
